I have left many videos where the creator didn't explain fast enough what I was going to gain. Those that ask me to subscribe within the first 15 seconds had me hitting the next button.


With video's you are either being entertained or learning something. With the kind you create it is for learning. When it is for entertainment the rules are a little different.

In the past I have subscribed to channels where I was never asked to even like them. It depends on whether they delivered what they said they were going to, and if I believed it was worthwhile to watch more. Dennis Thorgesen
