When it comes to generating leads for your business there are several ways to do it. In this video I am going to talk about 2 of the most popular ways to get leads for your online or offline business. The 2 ways are Cold Calling and Voice Drops
Cold Calling – This is basically when you pick up the phone and call a prospect that you feel would be interested in your goods or services. In most cases you will have some sort of script that should at some point be memorized. There are tons and tons of “how to cold call” articles, videos and courses out there that teaches all sorts of techniques. There are so many course out there because cold calling can be very effective but difficult at the same time. Many marketers try to avoid cold calling for many reasons, one of the main ones being fear of rejection.
Voice Drops – This is where you create a message that will be sent out to a list of prospects that you feel will benefit from your goods or services. These messages will go straight to your prospects voicemail box. When your prospect check his/her voicemail they will hear your message. You ae hoping that this leads to them calling you back.
So which one is better?
In my opinion, cold calling can be more effective between the 2 if done right. I feel that someone with a good script and who is fearless can do very well with cold calling. I also think that Voice Drops can also work but the message that is left on prospects voicemails should be really good. Both methods can be very powerful when growing a business. At the end of the day it's whatever works best for you!
